50 Largest Private Companies
One of the key recommendations for the FTSE Women Leaders Review is to extend the scope of the Review to 50 of the largest private companies in the UK. This helps to strengthen the approach, bringing diversity expectations in private companies in line with public listed companies and encourages further progress across British business.
The list of 50 private companies were identified based on their size, number of employees alongside their significance in British business and the wider economy. Given this is the first year they have been included in our scope, we opted not to rank them. The list of companies identified is below. Since 2024, 2 companies have fallen out of scope of the Review, 2 companies chose not to submit their data and 1 company provided partial Leadership data (Executive Committee data but not Direct Reports).
